I had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage. The location was ideal, just a few minutes' walk to the town and its attractions. The cottage itself had a unique layout with quirky features, making it a fun and delightful experience for both kids and adults. The beds were comfortable, and the linen and towels were of high quality. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped, perfect for cooking meals for my family. The view from the garden and balcony was absolutely stunning, overlooking the river. The communication before my stay was excellent, with quick and helpful responses to my inquiries.

    No negatives from this place.

I loved the spaciousness and high-quality fittings of the cottage, along with the cozy bed linens. the parking was convenient and the host provided useful information prior to our arrival. the highlight for me was the wonderful terrace with its stunning views of the river and forest. the welcome bottle of wine was a nice touch and the location couldn't have been better.

Felt like it was our own home, nothing to complain about.

I recently stayed at a charming cottage in a fantastic location. The cottage had excellent facilities and even provided extra perks like a welcome bottle of wine. The nearby parking pass was a real bonus for easy accessibility to the car park.

One slight inconvenience was the narrow stairs to the kitchen, which may be difficult for guests with limited mobility. However, for most people, it shouldn't pose a problem.

The balcony at Butchers Cottage offered magnificent garden views, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of tea amidst nature's serenade. I felt like I was transported to a magical world, where the birds sang harmoniously and the flowers danced in the gentle breeze. It truly was a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

    Stairways were narrow.

The location of the cottage was absolutely perfect, just a short walk away from the main attractions and the river. We loved being able to explore the town and visit the museums in Ironbridge Gorge without having to travel far. Another great feature was the well-equipped kitchen and dining area, which had everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and comfortable the cottage was, especially the cozy lounge area with a big TV. the outdoor spaces were a highlight, with a lovely terrace on the first floor where we could relax and enjoy the stunning views.

While we had a generally pleasant stay, there were a few things that could have been improved. the pillows provided were not to our liking, but that's just a personal preference.

We recently stayed at Butchers Cottage for a few days and it was a fantastic experience. The cottage itself was well-equipped, clean, and had an excellent location within walking distance of the lovely town. The owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the view of the river from the cottage was simply breathtaking. We enjoyed taking walks along the river path, especially to see the beautifully lit up bridge at night. The outdoor spaces, including a tranquil terrace and a covered dining area, were also a wonderful highlight of our stay.

    Strongly recommend this hotel.
